What Is Delta-8-THC

Cannabis is a plant that for thousands of years has evolved naturally in the wild. All bind to the same CB-1 cannabinoid receptors in the nervous system but, due to its slightly altered molecular structure, delta-8 THC appears to react differently. Users indicated a better elevation, less anxiety and less sedative influence. So THC delta-8 is psychoactive but much less than THC delta-9.

How Are You Taking Delta-8 THC? 

Generally Delta-8 THC is produced in concentrate form. Because this happens in cannabis in very small quantities, it can be extracted and refined into a thick transparent liquid that looks like any CBD distillate. This is sold in bottles or syringes and a typical cannabis pen or dab rig can be used to vaporize this. The concentrate of Delta-8 can also be combined with the flower to kick up the level of potency to as much as 8THC. Because distillate is potentially edible, it can be eaten orally, but when metabolized within the body, not much work has been done on the effects of delta-8. Only a few oral tinctures infused with delta-8-THC (for sublingual use) are available.
